Yes it most certainly is. You can actually drown from taking in too much water. Drink the recommended amount each day and don't drink heaps when you are not thirsty.
If your filters are up to date and the water
tastes ok then it should be good enough to drink. Make sure that you change
your filters on a regular basis.
A water purifier works through the process of
reverse osmosis. Water purifiers cleanse water by passing it through a series
of filters. This helps remove large amounts of contaminants and other harmful
chemicals
This could be a frozen water line that feeds the ice maker. Turn the temperature down on both the freezer and the refridgerator and wait at least 48 hours for the temps to adjust and thaw the line. If you are in a hurry you could turn off the unit and remove all food and then use a hair dryer on the water line to thaw it out. Good luck!
Hi this is not a problem with any equipment you are using its just a case of you living in a hard water area, their are filters you can buy but can be expensive to maintain, as the cold water feed is the same as the hot water feed then it may be worth getting a filter fitted to the cold tap as this is the water you will be drinking you can either buy one that fits on the tap or you can buy a brita free standing filter that you just keep filling up with water and use it when you need to.
Their is no problem with the water and it wont harm you and if you say run a bath or fill the sink up with hot water and it looks milky just wait 5 minutes then it should be perfectly clear.
You mainly get this type of hard water when you live near the coast, it can upset your stomach if your not used to this water so boiling it before drinking will give you chance to get your body use to the different water conditions.
The pressure from a reverse osmosis system is not sufficient to operate the ice maker water valve. A water valve requires a minimum of 20 pounds of pressure without a refrigerator water filter, and 35 pounds of pounds of pressure with a refrigerator water filter. Manufactures do dot recommend installing an R/O system on the water supply to a refrigerator. The pressure may have been higher from your old system.
