Not enough power to shoot the pellet out of the barrel.

I have a beeman tempest and every time I cocked it it would not shoot. The pellet seem to get stuck in the barrel. I do hear a pop but the pellet is stuck inside the barrel. Looks like there is not enough power to fire the pellet. Should I replace the mainspring?

SOURCE: Daisy Red Ryder BB gun won't shoot

1) **** the gun and look through the hole in the top, half way down the barrel.

2) You should see a BB loaded into this area.
- if no bb is present and you can see a circular magnet, then it is not loading.

3) if the bb is present and does not exit the barrel when you fire the gun, then the bb is deformed and will require the rifle to be dissasembled and rodded through the back side, forcing the bad bb out of the way.

4) If no bb or magnet is present through the hole, call daisy for a replacement. This indicates the shot tube has moved and will no longer load.

Check the trigger guard screws. If the trigger guard has been loosened or removed, it can effect the proper position of the safety actuating lever (the lever in front of the trigger adjustment screw), preventing a full cocking stroke.

SOURCE: when I **** the barrel to compress air it won't

If it new, it must have a warranty of some kind. Use the link below to contact customer service for help.

Crosman recommends that you take to a service center, and adds the following. >DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE IT< Your Phantom requires special tools and fixtures to repair it. Any disassembly or modification not performed by an authorized service center will void the warranty.

SOURCE: i **** the marker. screw in hpa. so far so good.

Replace all of the o-rings within the gun make sure that the striker pin is free to move. The striker pin is the one that the big striker hits, it is on the inside of the pressure tube.

What types of pellets is used in Beeman Sportsman Series Air Riffle Cal .55?

The only Beeman Sportsman Rifle I can find takes either .177 or .22 caliber pellets depending on which barrel is fitted.

If the pellet you tried was a .177 try a .22.

Otherwise try emailing [email protected] and see what they say.

Crosman 766 was shooting fine, the next shot did not shoot the pellet and just made a funny sound. Now when you pull the bolt back and forth there is no sound to indicate a shot fired when the trigger is...

Upon cocking your gun is there the same tension with the cocking spring as there was befor? Also check the condition of your barrel seal for tears or cracks in it.
