Kenwood IH206 induction cooker E1 error what's wrong

SOURCE: Vollrath induction cooker is not working. The display reads F9. Model # is 59500.

The range does not recognize the pan material. Only ferrous (magnetic) cookware will work with induction. This is a protection circuit to only heat proper cookware. When all else fails read the instruction book or call the service department for the manufacturer...save time, reduces frustration and assures safe operation. Good Luck

E0 means incomming voltage is higher than 260 V.

Possible that the driver of the induction coils is short or damaged. You might need to remove the panel and check within to see the reason for the protect cut off.
If there is no other display on switch On then the circuit is faulty and a knowledge of power electronics is needed to probe into the circuit.

your cooker has a low or high voltage problem.
check your plug and clean all parts inside your cooker.
maybe have some corroation in connectors and terminals.

STEPS TO VERIFY ISSUE:

Turn the home circuit breaker to the unit off for 30 seconds then back on again. Then retest the unit operation.Or contact the maker direct. They are expensive units and in my experience, if you get 2 years out of them in a commercial setting, you are lucky!

      Put a pan on the cooktop surface if you receive an E0 error. This error indicates the absence of cookware on the ceramic surface.

      Hold a magnet next to your cookware. If the magnet sticks to the cookware, it is appropriate to use with an induction cooktop.

      Place the cookware back on the cooktop if the magnet sticks, or replace it with appropriate cookware if the magnet does not stick.

    E1 Error

      Turn off the cooktop.

      Remove the cookware from the cooktop.

      Unblock any external ventilation slots.

      Let the cooktop cool down for at least 10 minutes.

The induction cooker when put on it shows E6 after about a minute or so and no heating takes place.

There is a error message there, it indicate a problem with your induction cooker. It cause a defective winding wire or circuit controllers your know induction cooker works similar to the principle of electro magnet induction, it give heat to metal cooking pot. I hope I give you a idea regarding what happen to your unit.

E1 and E4 error code desplay on the screen induction cooker. what is the fault in the induction cooker?

E0 error - ensure pot or pan is placed correctly
E1 error - the circuit has malfunctioned
E2 error - the temperature sensor is opening circuit or short circuit
E3 error - the voltage is higher (140 - 160V) for 3 seconds
E4 error - the voltage is lower (80 - 100V) for 3 seconds
E5 error - the cooktop surface temperature is too high
E6 error - Internal electronic temperature is higher than normal for 3 seconds
E7 error - Internal electronic temperature sensor is opening circuit or short circuit
