Kenmore microwave oven (model 80089700) start/enter button not working. I accidentally pressed something power button again and again and the start button stopped working. every other button works fine. when i reset the power, it asks me to set clock and when i was setting clock, i presses start button and it worked fine but for using microwave, it doesn't work. anyone know what is going on here?
Safety system locking out the start switch. Door not closed, mode and timer not set etc.
Door is closed but light inside microwave doesn't go off. Any idea on how to change safety system or reset the microwave oven so that it comes out of it? Thanks.
You say the light inside doesn't go off? The door maybe closed but electrically the machine still thinks it's open (faulty door switch)
