Water always expands when it freezes. That's why ice cubes float in a drink.

Inside of freezer door bubbled up

If the pipe that burst was spraying water onto the refrigerator, it is likely that some water got between the inner panels of the freezer door. This water then froze and expanded, pushing out the inner panel of the freezer.

My refridgerator leaks sometimes on the freezer side. i think it leaks when it goes into defrost mode. i turned the freezer off for a couple days to thaw out and then cleaned it out. after i turned it back...

Hello Fred,
I dont know if it is top freezer or side by side,so here are tips i wrote about each type leaking

TOP MOUNT FREEZER
That water is from the melting frost of the automatic defrost cycle. Their is drain in the freezer behind the back wall under the evaperator coil that is blocked, so instead of defrost water draining it's pooling in the freezer or in some case espically on models with the freezer on the top,the water is leaking from the freezer vents into the fresh food compartment.
The way to clear the drain is remove back plate and remove all ice build up and GENTLY make a small hole in drain through then totally flush w/warm water.
The exact location of drain is under the coil behind back freezer plate in the center

SIDE BY SIDE

The water is from the melted frost of the defrost cycle. The drain at the bottom of the back wall of the freezer is blocked so instead of the water draining into the pan where it will evaperate,it's pooling on the freezer floor and freezing, in many case when the floor indent is full the water will leak onto the floor.By pulling the refrigerator out from the wall, there will be a tube behind the service panel on the right side when looking at it from the rear, that tube can be removed and cleared, then clear the nozzle it connects to inside the freezer.

I hope this helps you to stop the leak,
Gene

Freezer door opens when fridge door closes

if you are worried that the freezer is empty....fill it with plastic bottles of water...remember tho, don't fill the bottles completely as frozen water expands.

My hte21waaww door gasket is causing my freezer to form icicles. does any one have answers

Check all around the gasket to make sure is not broken , if it is you need to replace it,but if not and is dry and won't stick to the refrigerator, first clean with degreaser around the magnet and also where this make contact with the fridge .After this put very hot water all around the rubber gasket it will make it softer and it'll expanded after this you also can put vaseline on the gasket (is not toxic and doesn'tsmell)specially on the side by the hinges.
