Hi.
Check this guy out archerairguns.info.
Before you strip down your rifle, try the oil treatment.
Oil seals dry out even from factory delivered guns. This guy runs you through the "fix".
Simple steps but you need to buy some Pellgun Treatment Oil.
It's only a small tube and this guy walks you through the steps.
They're really good guns and owners really love theirs.

The only Beeman Sportsman Rifle I can find takes either .177 or .22 caliber pellets depending on which barrel is fitted.

If the pellet you tried was a .177 try a .22.

Otherwise try emailing [email protected] and see what they say.

Has the stock dried out or the stock screws coming loose
Has the stock to action gap gotten larger if so you could try getting the synthetic stock

If your pumping the rifle and you hear air seeping out then the seal on your air chamber is bad or got pushed from where it is suppose to be, you can take it apart and see, its real simple...

My problem was that I was looking for a owners manual for my Beeman sportsman 1000 series,so I ended writting to Beeman.
