SOURCE: Amana Mod # ABB2223DEB Refrigerator

I found this problem addressed on applianceblog.com and per they recomended part # 67006166. My repairman ordered this part and it had been superseeded by an even newer version, # 10127429. He installed that newest version in late June 2008 and it has been great ever since. So for me # 10127429 was the answer. Hope this helps

SOURCE: Child Lock on or Flashing Energy Saver Dry

I suspect that the cycle "button" on the control panel is intermittent.  Try using a different cycle - If you always use "short wash", try the "normal" cycle.
This worked for me.  It will be too expensive to repair, so I am dishwasher shopping.

SOURCE: refrigerator compressor will not kick on

Is it possible that with the moving a cable may have been pulled. Open the cover on the compressor connections and check that all wires are fitting snug.

SOURCE: Amana energy saver not keeping fridge section cool enough. HELP!

if there is frost build up on rear wall of freezer section the unit is not going through defrost cycle which builds up frost on evaporator and restricts cold air flow to the fresh food section. one of three things are bad. defrost heater, defrost thermostat or defrost timer. if no frost on rear wall you might be low of freon.

SOURCE: Fridge not getting cold enough

The cold from the freezer is piped up to the refrigerator and if that tube gets clogged with frost or ice it will not be able to blow to the cold air into the refrigerator area. I took everything out, unpluged the unit for about 6 hours, till all the frost from the freezer was gone, wiped up all moisture and turn it back on. It worked!

How do I get my Samsung fridge model #rs25hs5000bc off demo mode? I tried holding down energy saver and power freezer but doesn't work.

IT is three buttons not two. Cooling Off mode (also called Shop mode), is designed for use by retailers when they display refrigerators on the shop floor. In Cooling Off mode, the refrigerator's fan motor and lights work normally, but the compressors do not run, and the refrigerator and freezer do not get cold. To start Cooling Off mode, press and hold the Energy Saver button, the Freezer button and the Lighting button for 5 seconds during normal operation. The refrigerator chime sounds and O-FF appears on the display. To cancel Cooling Off mode, press and hold the Energy Saver button, the Freezer button and the Lighting button again for 5 seconds, until the chime sounds. Cooling Off mode is only available on refrigerators sold in the U.S. Instructions are on page 20=> HERE

I have some problem with my AMANA BX20ML Model REFIGERATOR

You may have a bad condensor fan motor or paper may have gotten pulled under the fridge and jammed the fan blade. The energy switch will not help with cooling it only controls exterior moisture.

Amana Refrigerator cooling problem

The energy saver switch doesn't really save you anything, all that does is turn off the mullion heater circuit which if you really add up the pennies on your electric bill, might save you enough in one year to cash in for a bite size snickers bar... leave that off. Replace the operating thermostat (freezer thermostat) to correct this problem. If you're concerned with being green, after you replace the thermostat, turn on the energy saver and see if this makes any difference, it shouldn't in operating temperatures. Wiring and diagrams are usually available at sears, or by visiting searspartsdirect.com.

The center area of my Kenmore 59282990 is very hot. The ice maker is working fine. I unplugged the unit for 3 minutes and plugged it back in and the unit cooled off in the middle then about 20 minutes...

The heat in the center of the doors is normal and can reach 120 degrees to reduce condensation. There used to be a energy saver switch installed to turn off/on the heater. They no longer use energy saver switches to save about 50 cents a month on utility bills. They use other energy saver parts that are not user controllable to save the 50 cents.

Layer of ice in freezer. How do I access drainage tube to clear i

It is in the freezer compartment but you can try accessing  it from the bottom where it goes into the drip pan. Try using a can of compressed air with a straw held tightly with your fingers and blow out the line backwards.
Not a lot of infor ar pictures in you manual . It does say to make sure it is level and shows hot to do so. See below:
