I have checked and double checked and power is on to system. System was shut off yesterday and will not turn on, double checked and power supply is good.
Can you hear any fans kick on? Can you hear the hard drive spin? If you have an extra computer swap hard drives to see if your drive crashed. Do you get any beeps? Listen to how many beeps it gives if it does beep and google your model and the amount of beeps it can help troubleshoot.

Sounds like you system is set up to only provide output current when not charging via the array... its common... shut off or disconnect panels and your problem is solved but the batteries won't be receiving any charge obviously... this set up is used when the systemhas nothing to limit or control the current produced from the arrays/panels from going directly to the attached output devices. This is typical in small pv systems.
You seem to have some corrupted data on the hard drive regarding downloads and firmware. No fear this is an easy fix. First off...shut off ps3 so that its in standby. (Red Light On). 2. Hold the power button down; the system will turn on and turn off once again.
3. Press and hold the power button again and keep holding, it will
beep as it turns on and then it will double beep. When you hear the
double beeps immediately take your finger off the power button (if your
system turns off before you get a double beep just try again and hold
the button, it should double beep the 2nd time you try)
4. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via USB and then hit the PS button
You will now have a screen with these options (I have attached a picture of this screen below)
1. Restart System: Restarts the PLAYSTATION®3 System.
2. Restore Default Settings: Reset all system settings back to default.
CHOOSE THIS ONE 3.Restore File System: Checks for corrupt/missing system files.
4. Rebuild Database: Rebuilds the OS for the PLAYSTATION®3.
5. Restore PS3 System: Fresh restore; Deletes everything and starts from Scratch.
6. System Update: Update the PLAYSTATION®3 System IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT CHOOSE THE WRONG OPTION HERE OR YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR DATA. The one that fixed my blu-ray drive is option 3: RESTORE FILE SYSTEM I REPEAT CHOOSE RESTORE FILE SYSTEM
After this, it is going to restart and bring up a screen reading
something like "you have Corrupted System Data. Your PS will now
replace this data" Then you choose continue and that should be it.
This option reinstalls the system files and drivers inside the PS3
with the original ones that are stored on your hard drive. In this
case, it replaced a corrupted driver for the blu ray drive thus fixing
my issue and hopefully yours!! This option will only replace all system
files thus saving you from loosing any data that's stored on your hard
drive. Again this option does nothing to your hard drive it reads a
file from the drive and rewrites it to the PS3 system. Hope this helps...it did for me.
The PS2 shuts off automatically when acquiring heat, it might have been cutting off due to excessive heat or overheating. If the system does not power on, well the internal power supply unit might have gone busted and generally a hardware failure causing this issue.
try rebuilding the database and the file system in recovery consol
to get to the recovery consol press and hold the power button when ps3
is in standby mode(red light) till you hear a double beep. sometimes
the ps3 does a beep then another beep and goes back into standby thsi
is fine just release the power and quikly press and hold it again till
you get double beep.
like on my 80g system it goes like this
ps3 standby...press hold power.......beep .........beep........stanby
again....release and hold power again.......beep .........double
beep...release power now you should be in recovery menu.

your alarm system is messed up, thats the only explanation if it will only sart with remote start!!
check fuses in main control box for your alarm system!!
Either the board or capacitor have failed. If the motor is HOT the motor could also be the problem. in oder to tell if it is the board you will have to check to see if there is power coming fromthe board at the place where wires hook up. If power is there then it is either the motor or cap.
Unplug the the dsl & any other device except the keyboard & mouse. Double check the video cable at both ends monitor & PC. Boot up system. If the system starts shut down & connect 1 device. Boot the system. OK? continue to do this. On the dsl there is a reset button. With it unpluged from power use a pen & hold in the reset for about ten seconds. Reconnect the power & reconnect the Rj45 to the PC. Boot system.
