Music player says no music files found

Whenever i start the music player it updates the library and says no music files found...i tried formatting the memory card..i also tried storing some files in phone memory..even i tried restoring original factory settings..help me..

    Ei. I've just tried this s0luti0n and still, it d0esn't w0rk. I've tried th0se previous solutions in lined with this pr0blem "NO MUSIC FILES FOUND" and yet, it d0esn't w0rk too..

Try putting files in a folder either named "Music" "My_Music" or anything around those lines

I've just found the solution of the problem!
Problem is : Some of the mp3 files are "READ ONLY"
All you got to do is check the property of all the music files and uncheck read-only or delete those files which are read only!

I thought that you have not try with Oxycube.Download and install this software.Run oxycube and connect your phone via USB in normal mode by selecting PC Suit when prompt.After connecting the phone browse C of phone and open "Hidden folders" again select "Music dp" and delete it.Remove the USB and restore the phone, now you can enjoy music.good luck.Thanks for visiting fixya

No music files found in my music player
First, you have to put some music files in memory card using a card reader or using data cable.
Then you need to update media library to see the music files. DO the following:
1. open music player 2. Select Option 3. Click Media Library 4. Again go to option and select Update Library
You will see all your music files in music player.

hi....

you have music files in your memory card..??

then please follow the steps...

1.open the 'music player'
2.Go to 'option'.(by pressing the left selection key)
3.Go to 'music library'
4.there wil be a option called as 'update library'.
5.select this and you wil get the music files to you music player.
6.you can play from the music player

Any time i try to use to use my nokia 3110c music player, it always say no music files found so how can i solve this problem.
HI,
To slove this problem please open the music player and music player and select the option update library. Your library will be updated and all the songs in the storage card will come in the list and you can easily play them...

Ghost librarary: deleted files still shown on media directory
The problem is that the Archos stores library information separately from the actual files on the device and the library must be updated whenever the files are changed.
To manually update your library:  From the main screen on your Archos 605, choose the Settings menu from the bottom right corner and select "System".
If there is an "Update ARCLibrary" button available, then click that button and see if it updates your device.
If the button is not there, or does not work, then try temporarily switching the "UBS Preference" setting to 'Windows Media Device" and closing the Settings screen.  This should invoke the library update.  Once updated, you can switch back to PC Hard Drive Mode.
