What would you name a teen boy?

I m writing a book/story and the main male character is a tall, blonde guy with fair skin. He s about 17 and likes scooter-cross. He s not a popular kid, but not an outcast either. He s just a regular person. Which name do you think would fit him?

I wish you had listed the nationality/ethnicity of your character so I could give you a more related answer, but I personally like Jeremy and Jonah.
Try to pick a name that isn't used a lot; don't pick super common names like James, Michael, Thomas, etc, as they are likely to engage the reader less than a less common one.

How do I deal with the fact that my life will never be as perfect as peoples lives in books?

Consider the irony of your situation: from my own experience with teen fiction, I remember that many of the characters' lives seemed average, bland, and simple until someone else came along. I wouldn't focus on trying to find your ideal existence, rather look at yourself as one of those characters on the brink of something extraordinary. Try identifying with the characters' lives in ways that are similar to your own, but don't try to perfect your own story when every story line has its obstacles.
