I want to go into the military as an officer so they can pay for me medical schooling. After a serve for the military, 8 years, will my medical liscense still be valid?

If you are in uniform you have to salute a superior officer but saluting indoors is strictly forbidden unless you are formally reporting to said officer so yes you will need to salute their rank

I recommend joining the Air Force if you want to become a pilot however, people don't just become pilots after having a Bachelors. You have to meet the requirements, pass the exams and be medically cleared and in shape, this applies to all branches. On the other hand its a challenge that only you can decide. I recommend talking to the nearest recruiter.
