Do you think schools should ban books for racial slurs, violence, etc?
I just read that To Kill A Mockingbird and the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn has been banned in a school district in Virginia for racial slurs. I have never read the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn but i have read To Kill A Mockingbird and I thought it was an excellent book. Kite Runner is also banned for violence and the rape scene in it. My favorite book Fahrenheit 451 is also banned for censorship reasons. Do you think classic books should be banned?
