I have tried writing books before but I could never finish any of them, however I made a good dent a while back in the plot line of one and hit a block and stopped because I didn't know if anyone would even read it so what I want to know is if any of you would like a book like this. The book takes place in the year 3022 (long distance commercial space travel and flying cars are a common thing) and has parts that take place in the bronze age and the main character is attempting to stop a war that could end the world before it starts the book also has magic, sword fighting, space age fighting(laser weapons and such), and mythical creatures both from different mythologies and from my own imagination. I personally dont enjoy books that are science-fiction but ive read books that were a lot worse than what you described. i know people that would read it. it just isnt my cup of tea :)

Many schools offer courses, and there are on line courses too, some of them free. Some author sites offer free critiques of work. You will have to search for one that is within your genre.
My suggestion if you not wish to try the options above, is to decide on two characters to start with. Describe each and how they relate to each other, what do they say to each other.
The very first thing you have to do with your idea. Is WRITE.
Doubtful, to get anything published no matter how great or unique, without writing or grammatical skills. Why don't you take some classes first? Hine your English and writing skills, then write your story.
