A life of rejection?

"Those jobs require a college degree, go apply for one without a college degree and see what happens"... hahahaha Yeah ok, whatever you say Sonny boy.. I been rejected for EVERYTHING, I have been accepted by NO ONE and have been allowed to join NOTHING, and I have been allowed to benefit from NOTHING and I have been allowed to earn NOTHING... My whole f)ucking life and I am now 30.. There is nothing that a lawyer who needs a secretary, can tell me that the Mc Donalds manager hasn't already. There is NOTHING that you can say to me about ANYTHING, that would be New. You can't think of anything new to ME, to say to me. The resourcefulness of Human language doesn't have the equipment to say something to me, that would be new to me. Welcome to the cold hard facts about my life. What are you going do ? Fire me ? hahahahahaha

Has my son crippled himself by only getting an associate's degree?

He needs to grow up and face facts. Don't finance him, and let him learn. If he wants to be a graphic artists. He needs to follow his dreams, but has to have a formal training or be super talented. As an employer, I look at education as an indicator of drive and perseverance. Not education only. He'd better have an outstanding resume to get a job, or be self employed. My 2 cents worth.

Why Do Liberal Arts Majors Think That They are Learning "Useful job skills" In their major?

I don't think it entirely fair to say "any degree provides these" and then list quantum physics (which is most likely above bachelor degree) and computer science as examples. Obviously if they can solve "high level problems" they can think critically. But if we take a physics degree for example sure it might seem more prestigious but most people will not find jobs in physics with out at least a masters and that's if your lucky. In both cases the degree does not provide the exact skills used in a job but that does not mean the degree is useless.

Who doesn't have college degree nowadays? Why do some people think they are holier-than-thou for having a college degree?

I think that a lot of people have not undertaken higher education nowadays (at least there's a lot of them in my surrounding). I am studying at college now, but I'm not thrilled about it :) I'm doing all my homework with the help of the Paperial online writing service to save my time and energy. And I'm ok with it. To be honest I'm not sure if I went to the college without a support of the parents. Don't worry, they are definitely not holier-than-thou!
