Try to start a load. Suds error comes up - so let it run, according to manual says it runs a cycle to resolve Suds, but then goes into F35. Manual says to cancel and run drain and spin and start again, only once I get F35 message control knob doesn't work so i unplug it to get the door unlock. For a week it eventually would wash load after a couple of unplug routines - now no such luck. Am using HE detergent and HE color safe bleach, although liquid not powder color bleach.
HELP!
I also got the SUDS error followed by F35 many times. I replaced the analog water level switch, Wirlpool part number W10156252, and the problem went away. The part is located against the back right corner of the top of the washer after removing the top cover. The part cost $62.99 + $12.95 express shipping from ApplianceZone.net. I have the Kenmore HE3t Steam Washer, model number 110.46752 700 front loader. I was able to run about 6 loads of laundry by unplugging the washer, waiting about 5 minutes, the re-plugging and re-starting the washer. Thereafter, the problem became permanent. I always used HE detergent. The washer was purchased new in December 2007, and the I made the repair in September 2009. I spent about $1300 for the Kenmore H3t Steam Washer, and I am disappointed that it required repair after less than 2 years. My mothers old Maytag washer lasted more than 15 years, and was not susceptible to soap SUDS.
I have exactly the same problem as dfkimball.... my machine is about 17 months old and have the f35 error. I didn't buy a warranty, but still, appliances should not break a year later....they should last no problem 10-15 years. Now it will cost us about 33% of purchase price to fix the machine. We have lodged several complaints with Sears that this is a manufacturer defect and although Whirlpool manufactures it, they should still take steps to fix this problem without cost to customer and just get the money back from the manufacturer themselves. I would NEVER by another Kenmore product. We called Whirlpool and they told us they won't deal with those products because it doesn't have their label, even if they manufactured it. We previously had a Whirlpool front loading duet for 5 years - NO PROBLEM. Again, would never buy Kenmore again, nor would I buy from Sears after our Customer Service fiasco with Parts/Repair. I am really in disbelief I have to spend close to $600 to repair this piece of **** machine a year later.
Replaced the $109 pressure switch for my Kenmore he3t, and sorry to report here is no change with the new pressure switch. I ran the diagnostic and it makes it through the C:00 test fine and then throws a F35 error before it gets to the C:01 test. I don't know if I'm going to have to end up building this thing part by part.
Had the same problem with mine--just ordered the part on appliancezone.net for $49. Take off the back panel--it's located in the back of the washer on the upper rt panel. Hopefully this will fix the problem. The part # is Clothes Washer Waterlevel Switch - W10312527.
