run a wire from brake switch directly to lights instead of through your fuse box. Not a good idea but thats how it would be done.

You've checked the connection from the fuse to the batterie but have you tried to bypass the keyswitch, it could be the switch doesn't connect inside or the key doesn't turn the switch inside.

YOUR WIRES IN THE STEERING WHEEL MIGHT BE SHORTENING OUT AND THE WIRE TO FUSE BOX MAY ALSO HAVE A SHORT

Check power going into the distributor, if you have no spark at the end of the wire.

Check for bad earthing or broken wires or switch unit may need some W / D 40.

Yes, there is a "bypass outlet" coolant hose that connects from the water pump inlet pipe (metal pipe that runs from back of water pump along engine block to lower radiator hose) to the intake manifold.

I am not sure about the "black box" - not enough detail.

should be listed on the back side of the panel under the steering wheel that covers the fuse panel if not i have a shop books

you need a starter box w/c includes push swtich , install near the handle put attachement to bolt , wiring to starter red in color to box terminal, black wire connect to box terminal direct battery , install fuse depend to the starter amphere , series to black line positive + .connect green wire to the negative -- from battery to body of the strater or ground bolt. then start it.
