WASHING MACHINE FAULT CODES AND REPAIRS,

Had a E90 fault,bosch condenser dryer found if I disconnected pump plug on the pcb mounted rear rhs of machine, rear connector with 2 red wires, fault would not be present and dryer would run, removed pump cleaned, and spun by hand, reassembled and operated correctly

First, of all it is a Bosch "Logixx".

Not a whisper of your fault code anywhere... go to this site and towards the bottom you will see a FORM to ask directly about your specific model AND your exotic fault code! Are you sure you have that "code" right?

Then I found THIS bad news!
"There are a number of different version of the electronics used in Bosch Group made washing machines and washer dryers that are sold as Bosch, Siemens and Neff and most of them use the different fault or error codes when they have a problem or a spare part fails. This particular article relates especially to the range of Logixx washing machines that have an ENR number in the format of WAS****GB/** where the asterisks replaced by a number for each one."

if its a Kenmore model then this message says that the button control board has lost sight of the main control board , but its been my experience that this maybe able to be reset and it may never come back or it will not reset and the control board will need replaced (50/50)


cycling power may reset this

Fault code 04, 05, 21, 42, 43 and 44 all relate to a motor error. So check your motors carbon brushes for excessive wear, check the electrical plug for any damage or corrosion same with the wiring. If your motor is spinning to high-speed straightaway check that tacho connections, and if the problem persists after checking all those areas suspect the PCB or module.

usually you find high up codes are something to do with sensors or flow rates on intake etc
sorry cant find the exact error condition you have
a quick phonecall to bosh service department and they can tell you they are very helpfull as a company
