So ignore the signs and multiply or divide.
28 * 8 = 224
Then, if you're dealing with two numbers, the result is positive
if the signs of both numbers are the same,

the result is negative if the signs of both numbers are different. so in this question, the 28 is NEGATIVE (-28) and the 8 is POSITIVE (+8)

think of the equation like this (-28) X (+8) they try to trick you by leaving out the positive sign on the positive number
