Printing is in green

Check the print settings. I guess you are printing black texts in black color without proper settings.

Open the Printers and Faxes from the Control panel, (or from the Start Menu), right-click the printer's icon, select "Printing Preference" and from the printing preference window, click "Features" as shown below,
2ced6a9.jpg

Click "print in grayscale" then select, "Black ink Only", click "Apply" then "Ok", now try print again. You'll need to restart the program (if you are printing from a program like Ms-word, etc..). This should fix the issue.

This happens when the color is set to high quality, means it uses only the color cartridge instead of the black cartridge.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck

Complete the following steps to resolve this issue.
Step one: Check the printin grayscale setting
If the self test page printed in color, the ink cartridgesare okay, and the ink levels are well above empty, the printer software hasprobably been set to print in grayscale. Follow the steps below to check thissetting:
  1. In the software application you are trying to print from, click File, then Print. The Print dialog opens.
  2. Make sure your printer is selected, then click Preferences. The printer Preferences dialog opens.
  3. Select the Color tab, then make sure that Print in grayscale is not selected.
  4. Try the print job again to see if this step resolved the issue.
    • If the issue is resolved, you do not need to continue with the rest of the instructions on this page.
    • If the issue is not resolved, continue to the next step.
Step two: Check the inkcartridges
NOTE:- HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HPink.
  1. Check the ink cartridges to determine if they have been refilled. If they have been refilled, try replacing them with genuine HP ink cartridges.
  2. Try the print job again to see if this step resolved the issue. If the issue is not resolved, continue to the next step.
Step three: Check inklevels
Replace any empty print cartridges.
  1. Press Setup .
  2. Press clip_image001.gifto select Tools , then press OK .
  3. Select Display Ink Gauge and press OK . The ink levels are displayed.
Figure 1: Ink levels

    • Each icon corresponds to the cartridge that is the color of the icon. The icons are also in the same order, from left to right, as the cartridges in the printer.
    • If an icon is empty, the corresponding cartridge may need to be replaced soon.
    • The ink levels in non-HP, refilled, and remanufactured cartridges cannot be read by the printer. Instead of an icon, a question mark is displayed for these cartridges. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP ink. Printer service or repairs required as a result of printer failure or damage attributable to the use of non-HP ink will not be covered under warranty.
  1. Try the print job again to see if this step resolved the issue. If the issue is not resolved , continue to the next step.
Step four: Service theproduct
If you have completed all the steps listed above and arestill experiencing a problem, service the product.

Officejet d135 - "Supply Expired" error message

HP, in order to sell more ink, monitors the expiration date of the cartridges installed. Solution is either to buy a new unexpired cartridge from HP or to disable the date monitoring built in to the printer. This latter is done by removing the button cell located inside the D135 printer on the left hand side or by simply slipping a thin piece of plastic between button cell and metal contact. You will no longer have date function on printer, but it won't object to expired cartridges either.

Not printing

The remaining levels of the following ink cannot be correctly detected.
Color
The following ink is running low.
Black [830]
Prepare a new ink cartridge.
The resulting print quality may not be satisfactory, if printing is continued under this condition.
If either black or color ink cartridge has run out, you can set the printer to continue printing with the other cartridge from the Ink Cartridge Settings on the Maintenance tab of the printer driver.
