We came home and the tv just won't power up. Can't get to do anything? Help anyone.

Thanks for the information but we had a tv repairman come in and the whole power supply was shot. You could see the burned capacitors on the board. We are getting a price on the board and will let everyone know what the cost is. Again thanks for your help.

The compressor comes on and it 's cool but when you turn temp down compressor comes on and trips breaker

Hi, when you turn the control for the a/c to come on and it trips the breaker, its showing that it is drawing to many amps all at once causing it to trip. Even though it runs and is cool at higher settings, its telling me that with some service to the unit, and if there is no internal problems with the compressor, you should be able to do a few things I will ask you to do, and hopefully solve this problem. First, kill the main power to the breaker box it self. Get to the breaker that trips the a/c and take a flat head screw driver and make sure the connections on both wires into the breaker are good and tight. You can do this with out killing all the power and just turning off the breaker that trips and you won't get shocked. Once you have completed this, you will need to get to the condenser on top. Take along a water hose with a nozzle to shut it on and off. Remove the cover, keep the breaker shut off so all is dead up top, and wash out the condenser coil very good. This will keep the head pressures down in the system, and help to lower the compressor amps. Try and keep all electrical dry. When you are done, take a look in the electrical box up top and tighten all wiring. What happens over time, is wires loosen up due to heat and will cause motors to draw more amps causing them to trip on internal over load or trip breakers. I truly believe your only problem is the a/c just needed to be serviced, and the wiring checked and tightened up. Try all of this and turn the unit on while watching the compressor up top. If it trips the breaker again, check the wiring terminals that start and run the compressor. You will need to squeeze the plastic cover on the compressor to remove and look the wires over good. They will be marked R for run, S for start, and C for common. Make sure none of them are burned or the wires are brittle. If so, they will need to be removed one at a time and repaired with new connectors. They are special and can be bought at a appliance parts house. Hopefully you will be ok. Please keep me posted on this and please don't forget to rate this post as I know you will be kind. I will be here if you continue to need help.

The first thing I would do is install a new circuit breaker. That could well be your problem.
