F1 error with your whirlpool cabrio is a common issue with these types of washers. This error indicates bad control and should be replaced to resolve the error code. However, you can contact Whirlpool as well prior to replacing the control yourself as I have seen whirlpool paying for the parts themselves just because this is known issue for them. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
The "F1" error code on the Whirlpool cabrio is quite common, and generally has to do with the control board. Replacing the control panel may resolve this issue. However, I believe Whirlpool is aware of the F1 issue with the Cabrio, and is fixing some machines for free. Please call 1-800-253-1301 for more details and see if you are eligible for a free repair. Thank you !!
