Bank 1 is the front bank closest to the grill
sensor 1 is the heated oxygen sensor and is located in the manifold or before the cat converter
sensor 2 is the oxygen sensor and is located after the cat converter
get a specialist oxygen sensor tool so that the small wires are not damaged during repalcement

Ford F350 6.4 Powerstroke diesel Question: bank 2 senor 2 temps are twice the temp as bank 1 senor 1. Should this be? Or do I have a problem?

Yes, you have a problem. The temperatures should be the same. Get the whole coolant system checked as there are a lot of different reasons this could be happening.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You need to change the 02 sensor. This is the sensor in the back. It is called a oxygen sensor. It is located on the exhaust system.

REPLACE BANK 2 o2 SENSORS 1996 CONTINENTAL

bank 1 and bank 2 refer to the positioning of the sensor on the car, bank 2 just means the second one, so if you start out at your exhaust manifold and inspect the piping going back, the second O2 senor you find will be the one you need to change, it will likely be around or near the catalitic convertor.

2004 suzuki verona..where is bank 1 senor 1 located on the engine

This car has a transversely mounted straight six I believe, which is really unusual, but that means it only has one bank, so "bank 1, sensor 1" will be the upstream O2 sensor (between the engine and the cat) and "bank1, sensor 2" will be the downstream sensor (behind the cat).
