You have a common fault with the electronics.
Check on a large auction site for a repair kit.
Item number: 330363841350
It will only cost £30, better then a few hundred.
Hope this helps

Refigerator is freezing food

Hi, this problem is going to be with the running thermostat. It has gone bad and stays open which in turn will keep the compressor running continually. It can normally be located in the control panel inside the fridge. Locate the thermostat and replace it. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to comment again. Good Luck!! The fridge of my American style fridge/freezer is

You can use a hairdryer on the frozen parts.
The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp ..

I have a freezer true 2 doors but i want to converter frigirator so i need all the steps so i can try >>

Before you do, consider these items:
1.) You will need to replace the compressor (Most likely). Compressors are sometimes rated for medium and low temp applications but not always.

2.) You may also need to replace the evaporator. They are rated by BTU's and what you have most likely will not work as you are changing the temp range.

3.) You will need to disable the defrost control and heater.

4.) You will need to bypass the fan delay or remove all together and reconfigure the wiring for such.

5.) You will need a new expansion device. Be it a cap tube or TXV, it still needs replacing as you are changing the temp range and BTU's you want.

6.) You will most likely need to replace the temp control (t'stat). Again, different temp range.

7.) Now, figure in the labor it takes to do all this. (Including the research to see it these items will work or not.

You may want to rethink doing this and opt for another piece of equipment.

Anyway, these are the steps you will need to take if you want to do the conversion.

Hope this has been of some help.

One or more of your defrost components(defrost timer or board, defrost heater, defrost thermostat/ bi-metal) are bad. Unless you removed the inside back wall in freezer and completely thawed the evaporator, it will not cool properly.

Freezer and fridge stop working when home temp is cold

ketner1 what you are looking for is an old style freezer. They ran so hot that they didn't care what the temps in the garage was. Here is a suggestion. I am not sure what kind of freezer you have had, but look for one that doesn't have a coil on the back of it. Freezers with the condenser in the cabinet work well at the temps you are looking for, however they don't work well in garages at 90 degrees, then they just transfere the heat to the inside of the freezer. This is the style my parents use and theirs is in a storage shed with no heat.
