HE 2 Plus shows no error codes, runs full diagnostics still no error codes, but will not power on when power button is pressed to start normal cycle.

This has been an ongoing problem for at least 5 years. holding the power button for sometimes up to 10 minutes seems to have worked in the past but is not working any further. MCC has been checked for loose or corroded connections with no issues found. If it runs a full diagnostic check with no issues what could be the issue causing the power button to not work.

I would replace the Motor control board.

Testimonial: "Why? What would indicate an MCB that was bad, And as a side note the damn thing started working again...? It appears to be something in the front control board power button. Still interested in your reasons for an MCB replacement"

Because it is the board the carries the most current and therefor it gets hot and heat is electronics worst enemy. Also it is a common failure. It is a guess based on what I have seen work. Go to applianceparts.com and ask the forum.

Kenmore Elite he3 front load washer

What you describe still sounds like a door switch problem but if you can run it through the diagnostic cycle then it should be ok.
The only thing different in starting diagnostics and starting normal cycle is you don't press the start button in diagnostics.
If you know how to put it into manual diagnostics you can check all the buttons to make sure they are working properly.
It is unusual to have 2 different problems at the same time and if the switch was broken, it definately would not start the cycle.
Put it into manual diagnostics and check the start button.
Post back and we will go from there.
Thanks/Mike

Washer will not run or complete a diagnostic.

1. The washing machine needs to be plugged in and in stand by mode with all indicators off.
2. Choose any one button on the washer's console except Power, Start, or Stop. Press/Hold 3 Seconds - Release 3 Seconds - Press/Hold 3 Seconds - Release 3 Seconds - Press/Hold 3 Seconds.
3. If the diagnostic test mode has been successfully entered, all of the indicator lights will glow for five seconds with 88 on the time display. (If it didn't work try #2 again One one thousand...Two one thousand...Three one thousand)
4. If there are any saved fault codes they will be displayed. If there are no save fault codes all indicator lights will turn off for a moment then back on with 88 displayed and the automatic diagnostic test mode will begin in five seconds.
5. If you are unable to enter the diagnostic test mode, press the power button and verify that the button you were trying to use operates properly to program the washer's cycle function. There may be something wrong with that function button. Find another button on the control that appears to work and try to enter the diagnostic mode with that button. You may also want to verify that the user interface has a good connection to the washing machine control board at the P11 terminal.

Note: Pressing the STOP or POWER button at any time to exit the washing machine's diagnostic mode.

Try this diagnostic cycle operation to reset.

To start the Service Diagnostics Cycle, press the
following keys, in order, in less than 6 seconds, while in standby(power on but unit off):
Heated Dry, Normal, Heated Dry, Normal
To Rapid advance one interval at a time, press the Start key, noting that
unlike Standard cycles, the Diagnostics Cycle automatically resumes
after door openings and does not require pressing Start to resume.

Once the diagnostic cycle has run and shut off, run a normal wash cycle, empty and with no detergent, to reset the control to factory "normal" operation. Make sure there's plenty of hot water.

How to run self test on bosche dishwasher

Here is an excerpt from "Bosch Dishwasher Troublesoooting".

Running a Test Cycle
Bosch dishwashers have a test cycle which can be run as a troubleshooting measure. The method to run this test cycle is similar across the Bosch dishwasher range so if your dishwasher features seems different from those described below then try experimenting, as the process is fairly straight forward and will be very similar. Bosch dishwasher model numbers are usually found around the top or lip of the door. One of the most common differences between dishwasher models is simply the names of the buttons. For example in the first example below, POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH may be called WASH and ECO depending on your dishwasher model and the country you are in. The other key difference is whether your dishwasher has a display panel (which can display error codes) or not (in which case a program light will illuminate to tell you the fault.
To run the test cycle hold down the POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH buttons. Whilst held down press the ON/OFF button. The lights above them should flash. Now you can check the status of each dishwasher program by pressing its button. Now you can run the full test cycle = Press the POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH buttons again. The dishwasher will start up and when the cycle has ended one, if you have no display panel on your dishwasher model the indicator lights will illuminate if a malfunction was detected as follows -
CLEAN - A temperature sensor fault. If this is the case then the test cycle will be very short as the dishwasher will terminate the test once it's been detected.
RINSE/DRY - A water sensor/filling fault. If this is the problem then the test cycle will not complete as the dishwasher cannot detect the right level of water, the dishwasher will just keep filling and draining again.
WASH - A heating fault. Check your heating element.
If you do have a display panel on your Bosch dishwasher then after the cycle is complete an error code will be shown if a fault has been detected. The error codes are as follows -
0 - No errors have been detected.
1 - A water sensor/filling fault.
2 - A heating fault.
4 - A water filling fault. This can also appear as F on the display during a normal cycle.
8 - A temperature sensor fault.
When troubleshooting your Bosch dishwasher, running the above test cycle is a good start in diagnosing the problem and should give you an idea of where the problem lies with your Bosch dishwasher and what fixes and repair are in order. Our general troubleshooting page will give you some ideas on other things to check on your dishwasher. Good luck!

My cabrio washing machine want start

start with Activating the service diagnostic modes. You can start with the cycle selector knob at any position.

  1. Be sure the washer is in standby mode (plugged in with all indicators off).
  2. Perform the following sequence of movement using the cycle selector knob. NOTE: After reset, sequence "a" through "e" must be completed within 6 seconds. When it tells you to rotate the cycle selector knob, it means 1 click, not a full turn. Once you have completed the cycle knob turns reset and "a" through "e", turn the cycle selector 1 click clockwise from the position it is already in. This is the fault code display mode. Then press the start button. Each time you turn the cycle selector knob 1 click clockwise after pressing start will show you an error code. Note: this washer stores 4 codes if any. The error codes on this washer are displayed in this format: F5 E3, F7 E1, etc. There is an error code chart in the image below.

If there are no error codes stored, I recommend that you start from the beginning (step 1 above) and then run the Automatic test mode. If this unit detects a problem, it will display the error at the end of this test.

Post the results back to me.

My washer test runs great I hear every thing working correctly but when I do laundry it doesn't spin. How can I fix this issue. I am getting an error code f7 e1

I know how frustrating it can be when appliances do not function properly.

This particular washer has a test that we can run to see any errors. This can be confusing on this model.

I am including a document below that will describe how to view the old error codes. Use the section that starts with Activating the service diagnostic modes.

I hope this is helpful. Post back your results.

HE2 Kenmore Washer stuck on F01 error message and Add Garment light on. Any trouble shooting suggestions?

The F01 error is a communication error and most likely the cause is a bad central control board. You tried to unplug the power and the machine still will not start so next I'd recommend trying to run a diagnostic cycle to verify the operation of the central control. In the image below are the instructions to enter and run the diagnostic routine. If the process is done successfully all of the LED light will come on for 5 seconds then display the last error. Push the same button until the error code ends and all the lights come on again for 5 seconds then the test will start.
If the test runs through okay then the central control unit is most likely okay. If it fails to enter diagnostic then the control has failed and needs to be replaced.
The last thing to try is to check the connections on the control. A loose connector might cause this problem
To see how the control unit  looks please check out this link.
