You need to buy a primer bulb kit and replace it cost about $8.00 and is easy to put in, the check valve is damaged.

Husquavarna chainsaw fuel problems?

This unit has the purge bulb separate from the carb, yes?

If true then likely the lines at the purge bulb are swapped. Disconnect the fuel line at the bulb that goes to the tank and move the line from the carb to the bulb to the other bulb nipple. Don't connect the return line to the tank just yet.

Begin pumping the primer bulb. Fuel should draw up from the tank filter, into the carb, thru the carb into the bulb and out the bulb nipple. If fuel now is making it to the primer bulb then attach the return line.

New carb on wacker bs50-2i still wont start unless i pour fuel down carb

Press primer until fuel fills bulb and flows out carburetor. If no fuel in primer bulb then check connections.

Check fuel line connections by disconnecting retun line to tank (without filter) and pressing primer bulb. Fuel should draw from tank (filter), into bulb, out bulb to carb and expel out carburetor. If not the bad lines, filter, or lines not connected correctly.

With fuel primed, turn both high and low speed needles in (CW) until seated, do not tighten. Then turn needles out 1 1/2 turns for initial settings. These settings are only to get unit running. Increase idle speed setting if engine stalls. Adjust low speed, then high speed and lower idle speed back to normal.

Will not prime with primer bulb , can squirt gas in carb and get running then while running you push the primer button it chokes down the engine .

Does it stay running after you squirt fuel in the carb opening? If yes, then there may be a pin hole leak in the hose going from the fuel tank to the primer bulb and it is adding air to your carb.
Thanks

Wont prime up

I have seen a couple of different things cause this... Are the fuel lines hooked up and not split and fuel filter routed right in tank.(hanging freely touching bottom of tank lying flat) next if your carb has adj. screws H &L I have seen when the H is cranked snug (lean) that primer won't work right. Last but not least your Needle inlet valve is stuck shut and or the fuel pump diaphram little tabs are not sealing off chambers in carb on fuel pump side. make sure your fuel lines are properly hooked up to the right spots. when you push primer bulb it should squirt gas into the fuel tank, then when you release it ,it should draw fuel from the tank through the filter and thru the carb and then out to tank.

I changed the primer bulb and now it's not getting

sounds like you hooked the lines up backwards, when you press the primer it is supposed to squirt gas into the tank on the return line cause what it does is draw fuel through the carb and back to the tank....filter line from tank goes to fuel pump side of carb and return line on carb goes to primer bulb then opposite line on bulb to tank...... so when you press bulb it draws fuel through filter in tank through carb and back to tank ! good luck! 2StrokeJim

My Craftsman 17cc gas weed trimmer wouldn't start.

Hi There, Check the primer bulb for tare or pin holes. Replace it. Check and clean carb jet it maybe plugged with debree. Also check for spark which you didn't say. Replace with correct plug.
Note; Do not use strong cleaners on rubber seals (O rings and gaskets) They dry up and crack.
If needed use a dabble of grease on seals

When I push the bulb to prime the weedeater nothing happens.

It helps to know the purpose and function of the purge/primer bulb. It is designed to draw fresh fuel out of the fuel tank (line with in-tank fuel filter) and send it directly to the fuel pump side of the carburetor. Also, it's vacuum effect helps out it's next function of drawing any air/old fuel out of the carburetor from the metering chamber and sending it back to the fuel tank after it passes thru the bulb itself. This is how a remote primer bulb functions. It doesn't have to be completely full of fuel for the engine to run either.
So, you need to check 1. The fuel filter in the gas tank 2. The condition of the fuel line connected to that filter (the line should be soft and clear, not yellow and brittle). 3. The status of the fuel inlet on the carburetor (open). 4. The condition of the fuel line from the carb to the primer bulb
5. The condition of the primer bulb and its' plastic fittings. (the bulb shouldn't have any cracks or be severely discolored . These things apply whether the bulb is a stand alone type or mounted on carb type.
Carburetor mounted bulbs develop their own unique problems of operation due to the check valves that control fuel flow below them in the primer base assembly of the carburetor. Those valves are fragile and sometimes fail (strong solvents and high air pressure ruin them) and the fuel doesn't move back and forth properly causing carburetor malfunction.

Fuel dont get in carbruator put gas in the carb thru the choke it starts but dies .i put a new gasline in it and a new carb kit Why dose pressure build in the fuel tank i removed the fuel line and gas...

When you prime/puge your carburetor, make sure fuel (w/ no air) is moving from the fuel tank towards the body of the carb. Also, make sure that there is fuel/air bubbles leaving the primer bulb and going back towards the fuel tank...and that when you push the bulb down and release it, there is no fuel movement in either line. If fuel does move when letting up on the bulb, you either have the fuel lines reversed or, the check valves in the primer base assembly are not functioning. The primer/puge valve's funcion is to draw fresh fuel into the fuel pump side of the carb and to push old fuel/air from the metering chamber side of the carb back to the fuel tank. Here is proper fuel routing:
This is an ongoing issue for users, and rightfully so. Small diameter line out of fuel tank (has filter in-tank on end) connects to the side of the carburetor that has the fuel pump....that is the cover without the hole in it. Other larger diameter fuel line out of tank connects to the longer nipple on the external purge/primer bulb. The bulb "pulls" fresh fuel from the fuel tank to the carb and then out of the carb to itself, where it then pushes any air/old fuel back into the fuel tank. The remaining larger diameter fuel line in this setup goes from the metering chamber (has cover with writing on it and a vent-hole) side of the carburetor to the smaller nipple on the purge/primer bulb. Years ago on 2-stroke trimmers, primers were not even used,...you choked the carb with a slide lever and gravity let fuel enter the carb from above...a few pulls, a "pop"...slide it off of choke and away you went.
If the purge/primer bulb is on top of the carb...small line from carb body to small hole in tank with filter. Larger diameter line goes from the bulb on the fuel pump side of the carb to the larger hole in the fuel tank where the line is held in place with a nylon nipple connector that keeps the line from pulling out of the tank.

What direction does the fuel flow into a weedeater primer bulb?

The fuel will flow from the fuel tank to the carb, after going thru the primer bulb, it will fill the carb with fuel and then be shut off after the float in the carb shuts off the fuel flow from the primer bulb.
Hope this helps,
Good Luck,
