Fixya website I signed up to Fixya and want to change my password. However I never entered a password and have no idea what it is. How do I change it?

How can i change password for fixya - where is the'my settings'

To change your Password, please do the following:

1. Sign in to your Fixya account
2. Click your Avatar on the top right and select "My Account"
3. Click on "My Settings" tab
4. Click on the "Change" button below the Password section
5. Enter your current password and your new password, then verify it by entering it a second time.
6. Click on "Change Password"

Change my fixya password

Hi Tom,

To change your Fixya password you will need to do the following.

Sign in to your Fixya account.
Click on your avatar in the top right corner of any page.
Click on My Account link that appears in the dropdown.
On the My Account Page, scroll down to the My Settings section.
Just below the avatar selection and email address fields, there is a button to change your password. (see image below.)
Click the button and then enter your current password and the updated password and verify.

Change password on Fixya

To change your Password, please do the following:

1. Sign in to your Fixya account
2. Click your Avatar on the top right and select "My Account"
3. Click on "My Settings" tab
4. Click on the "Change" button below the Password section
5. Enter your current password and your new password, then verify it by entering it a second time.
6. Click on "Change Password"

*Additionally, the system is case sensitive so please enter your details correctly.
*I also recommend that you type the password we provided you rather than copying/pasting it, as sometimes this can cause our system to view it as incorrect.

Where is my settings on fixya

To change your password on Fixya:

Sign in to your current Fixya account.
Click the avatar (your profile image) at the top right of any page.
In the dropdown that appears, click on "My Account"
On the My Account Page, scroll down to the "My Settings" section.
Right below your name and email address there is a section for password and a button that reads "Change".
Click the change password button, enter your current password and then your new password and click the Change password button.

Your password will be updated and you will need to use the new password any time you return to Fixya.

The info on changing password is incorrect. After entering the profile screen, there is no link to change password.

To update your Fixya password, make sure you are signed in and then visit https://www.fixya.com/ssl/changepassword.aspx

Change password of my fixya account

To change your password on FixYa you will need to sign into FixYa using your current password.

Once signed in, click your name located at the top right of the page and then select "My Profile" from the drop-down menu.

On your "My Profile" page under the "My Account" tab, you should see a link that reads "Click here to change your password" (its the fourth option in the My Account tab).

Click the link to change your password.

Hi Dave,

When you registered, you either chose a password, or were emailed one. To generate a new password, you can click the "Forgot Password' link on the sign in page, then enter your registration email. You will receive a new password within a couple of minutes. You can then switch to one of your choosing here- https://www.fixya.com/ChangePassword.aspx.

I forget my password. and it is asking my code but i forget my code to.. how can i access my facebook account ???

If you Forgot Password Click here
Enter the Security Check Word Correctly> Enter your MAIL id used for FACEBOOK>Continue>Click Reset

You will Prompt to Enter Confirmation Reset Code
Go to Your Mail Inbox(Spam/Junk/Inbox)
You will see Message From Facebook
Open it
There you will see like(Here is your reset code, which you can enter on the password reset page:
24ca41c7)
Bold Charecter will be your Reset Code
Enter it
Click on Submit
Please enter a new password
enter it Retype Password CLICK on CHANGE PASSWORD...

You are Ready to Use...

Hello Mitch Brodkin,

They are normally at My account, My settings... but you need your password to change your security profile...

You will have to log-out (make sure you got all your "other"
information straight before you leave... or there's no recovery from that trick.

~

Use the " FORGOT " my password... feature... as long
as you are using the same "EMAIL" account you originally
signed in with...

Fixya will recycle you through the PROCESS AGAIN...
(SOMETHING you answered in your first session... you put in TWICE (CONFIRMED))... again...

Suggestion: this time write it (SOMETHING) down.

Upper right corner is your name, click it, click my account, click settings, scroll to password, click change.

If you forgot your password, please do the following:
SIGN OUT
1.Click on the "Sign In" button on the top right of the page.
2.Click on the "Forgot password" link in blue. You'll be asked to enter the email address that you registered to Fixya with.
3.Click on the "Submit" button.

If you do not receive the email with your new password within a few minutes, please check your spam folder.
