If your looking for a "crank cocking device"... the Jackal is not made to accept the crank. It's only made for the "rope cocking device", which is a rope with handle at each end and two hooks that slide on the rope.

Google is your friend. Put in the model number with the word manual and PDF. It would look like this (Barnett predator manual PDF) this should find you the manual.

Just phone Barnett at the number in the owners manual they will give you an RA number and have you send it to them or they will have you take it to an authorized dealer. All Barnett crossbows have a life time warranty. I repair bows in Northwest Indiana. Make sure you get the RA number when you call. The Archery Clinic.

Click start control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll to cd/dvd rom drives right click properties then properties again then tick enable cd digital cd audio for this cd rom device or scroll to dvd regions select the no _ for your specific area
If this does not fix the problem you might try using another brand you might have a bad batch of dvd's
