I have a shark navigator upright and the clips on the sides of the tank won't stay clipped is there anyway I can fix this.

  • Terry Oct 18, 2016

I had this problem as well. My daughter took apart all the hoses and found a huge clog. After the clog was removed, the clips stayed fastened. It seems it was a loss of suction issue.

SOURCE: I have a Shark UV 300 26. The clips on the end of my hose have broken causing the hose not to stay in place in the housing. I have to tape it to stay in place. Where can I purchase another hose?

How do I change the belt on my Shark Liftaway

I have the Shark Professional Life-away. Maybe the same, or similar to yours. If its the same, there are 8 screws that hold everything together.

You probably found the two under the small rubber rollers located at the front bottom cover. There is one more hidden ***** under the "Hose Access" cover. Just pinch the two clips together (you may have to work these clips a bit to open the door) and you will see the last ***** inside.

The top cover should then lift off without a problem, just unplug the LED light cable (remembering its orientation) and you can get to the cover for the beater brush. Hope this helps!

Shark Navigator blowing front filter out of the vacum cleaner.

Dear sir, This is the most likely cause of this problem: Be sure that the top tabs and the bottom lock clip are not damaged. (red arrows on photos of my own unit) These hold the filter in place. If damaged you may try several layers of super glue, or oder replacement part from shark.com parts for this model. good luck.

Where is the reset button on shark navigator. vacuumed throw rug, and bar wont move

I'm not sure it has one. Check the owner's manual though.
Try this. Turn off vacuum. Unplug it. Make sure there are no clogs in main hose, power head intake tube, or intake inside tank. Plug it in, turn it on, and let us know what happens.
