Clogged line. Unplug your machine and remove hoses so you can clean all hoses in a bucket or the hose. That should get you started. Thank you Lucie and leave feed back, for I am new!
bad switch or broken wire in the cord . use a continuity tester to check from the plug to the switch. if the cord is good check the switch itself good luck
Only two things can be wrong here, either the solution hose is plugged, kinked or undone from it's source, or the pump motor is not working. I'd try the hose first, if you can, take it off at the pump and then turn the machine on. If you get solution pumping out of the unit, then it's not the little pump motor and your problem is in the hose.
I had the same thing happen to mine. I looked at the hose in the water tank and the screen at the end if the hose was slimy and clogged. I took the screen off and cleaned it up, put everything back together and it works like new again. Only 2 screws and a screen.
Not to be negative but I fixed one Bissell, and it worked for a while then it broke again. My Daughter bought one and it broke on her after using it only 3 times.
buy the rug Doctor or some other brand . That is my advise. Otherwise you will have to keep fixing that one.
