Indesit wixl143 broken I try to start a wash it sounds like it should as I can hear water but it's not going into the drum and the door lock light is flashing rapidly along with the extra rinse light

because of the short time this runs then stops, there could be maybe 3 faults, 1 check water inlet valves and supply for water flow 2 check for any motor action (use another programme) 3 check heater element for open circuit number 1 or number 3 sounds most likely hope i have helped, if so rate me please

Check the filter which is under the white panel at the front of the machine(the filter is in the lower right hand corner). Unscrew the filter and remove it. Mine was blocked with loads of grease/limescale. I cleared it out and the machine is as good as new again. I cleared the system with half a packet of soda crystals put into the main drum (on its own without any washing in!) and did a wash at 90degrees. Its as good as new now. Good luck. CK
