go to the back of the unit and visually check for the transportation bolts also if this unit is new you will not be able to do any repairs to the unit otherwise you would void your warranty My suggestion is to call for service immediatley if the unit is new do not run the unit until you go around the back and remove the transport bolts they are not noted in the installation manual and should of been taken off by the delivery people if you ran the unit with the bolts in place pray that it did not damage the machine I await your reply to find out if this unit is new and under warranty Thanks Rick
Mur What are you putting the chair in to transport? If it is a van then you can move the seat back forward or backward (using the seat back release lever on the chair) enough to get it in the van or SUV. I used to transport them in a 98 Jimmy but had to tilt the back all the way back to get it in. Lowering the seat I don't think will give you enough clearance to do that cause it will only lower about 3 inches. Hope this helps
"transport mode" means that your vehicle is running on a preset ignition program similar to "limp mode" to get you into a repair facility instead of: stalling and, needing to be towed. the vehicle will not run at peak performance until repaired.
yes, after period of time the battery will need replacement my wife has a wheelchair and we just replaced her battery after 5 yrs. If you are looking for replacement i recommend searching on-line cause they can be a bit expensive.
I think they are a little too expensive for what they are used for. You could get an invacare tracer for about $100.00. I`m not a Dr. or PT. So this is not medical advice. If the chair is going to be used for getting around the store or the house Titanium is a little much. Unless lifting the chair is an issue,I`d go with something cheaper
