Alcatel one touch sim stuck in sealed phone, no tray just a slot next to the SD card holder. Can anyone please help me if they know how to get it out??

Hi my son has put his sim into my phone and now I cannot get it out, it is a sealed unit and I do not want to tamper with it preferably. Would there be a simple answer to this with any luck, its really stuck in there and can't reach it. Thanks

Can you take a pic of the slot and how the sim card is stuck in there? Have you tried a small needle in there to see if you can catch the end of the sim card and then pull it out?

Thanks Jerry for reply managed to get it out but I think the spring is now broken as I cannot get another one to stay in!!.... Any ideas???

  • Jerry Jun 14, 2016

So, when you attempted to get the sim card you want in there, make sure you use something small to push it past the point you think you need to get it out. Unfortunately, there is a possibility the spring is now broken, but sometimes they can be tricky and you have to push it past a certain point before it will catch. Thanks, Jerry

Cheers Jerry will give it another try but I think it is probably broken alright. Thanks for all your kind help. Denise

I have only had this phone for 1 month and I charge it overnight and the next day by 11am it is nearly flat with 15% remaining. As well as it is now stating that my SD card has been removed when it is...

since its been connected to google all application is active and it can really used up your battery energy so if you dont want to use other application run by google dont allow it for a while and let your sim card do its function from the rest

My alcatel one touch is stuck on emergency mode how do i get it off?

I took my batter and sim card out and put battery back in without sim. Next, turned on my phone and then back off; then removed cover and battery again. I then reinstalled the sim, battery, and cover. Turned it back on then it worked. I don't know if this will help in your case, but give it a try.

Where do you put the sim card ??

On top (next to the Audio pin connector) of the phone there is a small pin hole. You just need to insert a paper clip pin into that hole and the simcard holder will pop out. Just place the Card on that tray and insert it in the same slot again.

Hi hope this helps,Firstly the charger is a standard mini usb,and regarding your simcard slot, remove the batterycover and you should find two fingernail slots on the left side,by flicking them open and lifting upwards your card slots should be seen regards ken

Installing the 1gb card

Remove the sheel backside of your phone
remove the battery
now you see your sim-card
you place the sd-card just at the right side of the sim-card
lift the mediacard holder
insert the sd-card into the slot in the mediacard holder so that the metal connectors on the card will align with the metal connectors on your phone when the media card holder door is closed
close th media card holder door and slide the media card door away from its hinges to lock it
put back the battery and shell and you done!

Location of SIM card in Motorola Razr

Are you guys serious....

Verizon & Alltel (which happened to recently finalize the merge) use CDMA. CDMA does not use SIM cards.

AT&T, T-Mobile, etc. use SIM cards - wheter they are 3G networks, TDMA, etc.
