I have a Coromaster BIIB. It looks like there is not a battery that can open the door during load shedding. Any assistance? Thanks

It sounds like you have a Coromaster BIIB automatic gate opener that uses an electric motor to operate the gate, and you are experiencing issues with the gate opening during power outages or load shedding.
One solution to this issue is to install an automatic gate opener with a battery backup system. This system uses a battery to provide power to the gate opener during power outages, allowing the gate to continue to operate normally.
Another solution is to install a manual override system that allows you to open and close the gate manually during power outages. This can be done by installing a manual release mechanism that can be used to disengage the gate from the opener, allowing you to open and close the gate manually.
If you are not comfortable working with electrical devices, it would be best to seek the help of a professional technician. They will be able to install the necessary equipment and ensure that it is working properly.
It's also important to check with the manufacturer of your specific model of gate opener, they might have a solution or an add-on that can help you with this problem.

Where can I find a wooden automatic gate?

A wooden driveway gate needs to be supplemented with a steel frame to last since they will be opened much more frequently than an ordinary wood gate. The slide type gates will need the structural strength to resist the pulling of the chain. A swing gate, will be cantilevered since a wheel at the opposite end will trigger the obstruction reversing mechanism in the gate operator. This cantilevering over the long width of a driveway requires steel in the structure both to prevent sagging and to keep the gate looking good over time. Gaps and misalignment will occur naturally as the wood shrinks and expands in weather. The steel frame helps to hold everything together tightly.

We make our gates using wood cladding over a steel frame. If you like check out our link at the bottom for more information. Here are some projects we have completed.

Wher to buy eurotech EWC177W parts (drain pump)?

Poor Earth Grounding
One of the biggest problems with electric gates is poor installation. In particular, many people do not properly ground the gate or fence during installation. Grounding rods must be placed under the gate in order to keep it safe for people and animals. Drier climates require more grounding rods. An improperly ground gate can cost thousands of dollars to repair.
Barbed Wire Fencing
Some farmers have tried to electrify a barbed wire fence, but this is a major safety hazard to animals. Animals can get stuck in barbs whether or not they are electrified, but the added electricity can lead to their death. Barbed wire should be avoided on farms and should never be electrified.
Interference
Occasionally, electric gates may experience technical difficulties due to interference. Local radio, television, or telephone signals or wires can cause the interference for both the media system and the gating system. Such interference can cause the gate to lose its electric charge temporarily. The interference can also cause brief spikes in electricity in the gate, which can be a safety hazard to people or animals.
Insufficient Animal Training
Since electric gates on farms are intended to keep animals in their assigned area, the animals must learn about the consequences of crossing the electric gate. Farmers or property owners must therefore train their animals to avoid the gates. To train the animals, owners must actually expose them to the electric shock. Owners who fail to shock-train their animals may find that their animals become obstinate or may get seriously injured.
Crime Target
Owners who install electric gates at the edge of their property often do so for security. Ironically, the presence of such high-tech gates may signal to would-be robbers that the owners are very rich, making the owners theft targets. Property owners may want to install an alarm system to accompany the electric gate to increase security.

Sealed Lead Acid Batteries: 12v 7ah; belongs in a Liftmaster LA400 gate control box. Can these batteries be charged using a trickle charger? I'm trying to find out if it's the battery not holding a charge...

A 12 volt battery needs about 13.5 volts to reach a full charge. It should stay at what ever voltage you bring it up to, with no load connected.
Most gate controls are solar charged and should be fine under normal circumstances.
Charge the battery with a regular 'automotive' type charger and then test it with a few cycles, open and closing gate.
Also check voltage from charger at gate...
