Make sure the bobbin is turned counter clock wise, also try changing the bobbin, also try a new needle. you may have to have the automatic needle threader checked to see why it's not working

SOURCE: The machine isn't making stitches.

Hello

Adjust the Stitch Length;

To make longer stitches, set the stitch length to a higher number. On many sewing machines, four is the longest possible stitch length and two is average.

To make shorter stitches, set the stitch length to a lower number. At a zero, the sewing machine may not actually make stitches, since the needle will go up and down in one place.

Cut a small scrap of fabric, preferably the same type you want to sew with.

Sew a few test stitches on the scrap. Examine the stitches to make sure they're the length you want.

Adjust the stitch length again as needed.

SOURCE: my izek singer sewing machine won't do

Hello there,
First thaing you should check is the tension pulley if it is poperly adjusted. Adjust it to the factory setting. Then check the needle if it is properly sitted. Then you look into the bobbin case and refix the bobbin.
Adjust your thread tension. It may be too tight or too loose.
If your upper thread and bobbin threads are different types, try using the same thread for both. And use a good quality, brand name thread.
Try switching to a needle plate with a smaller hole (a straight stitch needle plate). (Important: After changing your needle plate, check to make sure your needle aligns perfectly with this smaller hole before starting to sew. A misaligned needle could hit the plate and break, which could be dangerous. And make sure to change your needle plate back for zigzag and other wide stitches.)
Hope this was helpful to you. All the best Elect_Comp

I cannot get the CE-250 automatic needle threader to work. Threader and needle do not align up together.

Always make sure you rotate flywheel to raise the needle to its highest position before trying to use the threader. additionally the correct needle has to also be used so the threader wire and needle eye line up properly.

Automatic needle threader stuck

You may have a thread stuck in your bobbin area. Remove your bobbin, brush gently with a clean soft brush to remove dust and/or thread bits, then gently wiggle your hand wheel back and forth, and brush again. This should free up your machine.

Automatic needle threader won't work on brother pe-770

Always make sure the hand wheel is at the exact top. Have you replaced the need recently? If it's bent, then the threader will not work. If the needle is loose or not all the way to the top in the holder, it will also cause the threader to not work.

The automatic threader does not work

Please refer to page 33 of the user's manual.

The needle has to be in the highest position for the needle threader to align with the eye of the needle.

Threaders will not work if the eye of the needle is too small for the wire on the threader.

Sometimes the wire gets bent if it was forced against a needle that was too small or if the needle was not in the correct position for the threader to work.

The wire can be bent back into place, but you have to be careful as it is very thin and can break.

If the wire is broken, the dealer can order a new threader - they are not very expensive and are easy to install.

Janome MC 10001 auto. needle threader stuck in up position.

You are threading the top of the machine incorrectly.

Make sure the needle is in correctly with the flat side to the rear of the machine, make sure to thread the upper and lower portions of the machine correctly. If this does not solve your problem, please respond.

Automatic Needle Threader Doesn't Work All The Time

Needle threaders are generally finicky things. Check to make sure the needle eye is at the correct height for the threader to connect. Gently pull down the threader and wiggle the handwheel slightly to get the needle eye where it needs to be. The threader may have been been bent or slightly rotated so it doesn't connect properly. Also, if you are not aware, a needle threader will usually not work on needles smaller than 80/12 because the eyes are too small.

Admittedly, a needle threader is a very nice function to have. If you find it will not work, there are some things you can do to make manual threading easier. One hint I found that works well is to lick your finger. Swipe it across the back of the needle eye. Then begin with the thread end immediately above the needle eye and gently slide it down to the eye. The needle usually has a tiny groove above the eye that helps guide the thread. The thread tends to jump right through.
