Could not find a Error code c-6508. But I did find a paper jam 65-08. Check you document feeder there is a jam paper or sensor problem (PS302).

had a circuit board replaced recently??? if so check each and ever connection, pull each connection and reseat each connection one at a time while each connector is removed check all pins for a bent pin. Or replace the Print control board, Interface control board, image control board, and the overall control board, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ more then what you paid for the machine!!!! Then you will still have to remove each connection and reseat them and look for bent pins!!!!!

Something with your developer causing not enough toner. Maybe an auger issue in the developer or in the toner feed itself?
