Installing a CB is rather easy. The power needed is minimal since output power is limited to ~4W this means at most 10W of power from the battery is needed. This is less than 1 Amp for a 12 Volt system. You can use the car's regular power port for this. (Used to be called the cigar lighter when a heating element was supplied in the car.)
The antenna on the other hand is more problematic. You can either install something or use a mag mount antenna. The Mag mounted antenna will be easy and should do until you decide where and what kind of antenna to install permanently if that is wanted.
The best location for an antenna is up high in the middle of the car top. This is not always practical. the best antenna is a full quarter wavelength vertical, that's about 9 feet long, and we don't see too many of those any more but they are available.
I recommend you buy a fiberglass shortened mag mount antenna to play with to see if it is good enough for your use. If not you know that a quarter wave antenna is needed and then you need to decide to either mount it to a rear bumper (mostly for a car mounting) or to a strong side mirror, trucks usually have those.
Hope that helps.
