Load got off balance, I believe, and now it will not come on.

Green wash light comes on, lid lock light comes on, then after a minute or so the lid lock goes off and then the wash light goes off. I tried unplugging to reset computer but hadn't worked. (unplugged 1 hour) This has happened before and when the repair man came he said he found nothing it just started to work again when he turned it on...cost $68 for that

It sounds like bad electronics or bad sensor, did you try to adjust front door while turning machine on, like push them in. Do water runs in, if not it can be water switch.

Simpson washing machine 7.5kg 22s750m

Have the lid lock adjusted and always check that the bowl load is balanced. What you have is the machine is reading the lid as open and the spin will not occur until the lid lock reads closed.

Mw512 beeps and wont start

The lid switch sounds logical. That would certainly halt the cycle. I'm not sure what actuates the lid switch on your particular model but check it as well. Good luck.

OP display light comes on when hitting start. Then hit off & in a minute it comes on?

Most times this issue is caused by loss of signaling thru the Left Hand Lid Lock.

1st check for a Lid Magnet out of position. This is an easy check if you have a couple key holder magnets or a similar magnet that you can place over the Left side grey lid bumper. Let's see if you can close the Magnetic Reed Relay switch with an external magnet and send +12VDC up to the Control Board and clear the "OP" error code.
If that doesn't clear the "OP" error code we will need to remove the Left Hand Lid Lock and check to see if corrosion is part of the issue. Because of its proximity to that nasty bleach dispenser it will cause issues. Here is the lid lock to order.
Here is a picture of a bad lid lock.

I tried washing a rug - I believe it was too heavy and moved the washer around during the spin cycle. Now it is not spinning, it make the sound but it won't turn - I can move the tub around with my hand...

Hello- First unplug the washer. The out-of-balance switch may have gotten tripped. If you open the lid and look in the space between the tub and the top in the rear right corner you should see a plastic "arm" sticking down, reach you hand back there and move it back away from the tub. This lever actuates a switch in the control panel that will prevent it from spinning if there is pressure on it, it should be hanging freely away from the tub. Plug the machine back in and test it. If it doesn't work another thing that may be happening is the tub is not engaging on the transmission. With the tub empty reach inside the top perimeter of the tub and lift it up and let it down a few times, sometimes this will reset it and get it to spin. Lastly, i would check that the lid is locking when you put it into spin, the lid lock light should come on and you should not be able to lift the lid. If the lid is not locking you may need to have a F/P Tech out to replace the lid lock. You can test the spin by setting the machine to Permanent Press and advancing the cycle to spin. It will take a few minutes to start spinning usually. Let me know what you discover, good luck. Best regards.

Our Fisher and Paykel washer stops during the wash cycle with a series of beeps. We have to readjust the load several times to get it to finish. This happens virtually every load. Any ideas?

has your machine got a lid lock light on the display panel? if it has not, adjust the back feet of the machine so the back of the machine is higher than the front, also try lowering the front feet. this will move the bowl away from the out of balance lever which is located under the lid to the back right. if it has got a lid lock light reply back for further help and to let me know how you got on.

Our washing machine was stopping at various stages & would beep and just not continue with the cycle. (Sometimes it would fun a full cycle without a problem however). We took it to an official...

The drum suspension rods may be worn or one of them may be brocken, throwing the drum out of balance.

They are fairly easy to change if you know how to open the top hatch. Check and remove them individually.
