Sometimes it will spin out of control the lid pops off and its scary! This seems to happen when I juice cucumbers even though I take the seeds out. Yesterday I juiced lettuce leaves, celery (2 sticks), apple (1/2), and a small cucumber that I deseeded. I put everything in but the second half of cucumber caused the machine to jump around and spin on the countertop, popping the lid off. It makes me not want to use the juicer. I use a filter each time. Could it be that there is too much pulp? The above ingredients aren't that many and it seems like it shouldn't do this.

DROP THE FILTERS. FRUITS AND VEGETABLES HAVE TO BE FED SLOW
AND STEADY. IF THE JUICER IS OLD THE
GAP BETWEEN BLADE AND CHUTE MAY
BE TO WIDE LETTING LARGER PIECES
THRU AND THROWING IT OUT OF
BALANCE. USING ONE FOR 19 YEARS
AND THEY ARE TRICKY.

I bought a used Acme Juicer 6001 and when it starts working it's ok, but after 1 or 2 minutes, it starts vibrating and goes like crazy. I only put shopped vegetables, like cucumbers, apples, celery, and...

Just the opposite. The only way I get by the vibration is with an old worn blade which
I sharpen with a drill using a small bit. Installed a new blade, once, and the juicer took
off on me. Even the pro's have trouble with the vibration issue. If trouble persists, try
a pulp ejecting type.

Model 6001, when I used it to make orange juice, it shook so much the top lid became loose. Why?

Not designed to juice oranges, but if you must, feed it real slow. Your juicer went out of
balance that's why the extreme vibration.

My juicer spins off of its axis i think, wobbles all over, spinning itself in circles spewing juice everywhere

Omega and Acme juicers will vibrate because pulp
is not ejected during juicing. Only suggestion I can
offer is avoid soft produce and feed as slowly and
as evenly as possible. Been using an Acme for 21
years and did notice a duller worn blade does produce
less vibration.

I am looking for parts for the Acme 6001 Juice

Just google Acme juicer parts. The new lids are a tight fit and
have to be filed down if you're handy.

I have a Krups Vitamight model 294 juice extractor. My son used it and now I can't get the pulp container off. I have never used it and the the manual is gone.

i was having the same problem and couldn't find it anywhere... finally figured out that you twist the top off. place the unit with front towards you.
pull/twist the right side (pulp catcher) towards you about a quarter turn and the entire top comes off including the sieve.

Juice lady

On the stainless steel basket notice a notch cut out on the rim above the spout and an indentation on the back of the basket near the rim. The plastic ring must snap on to the steel basket before placing the assembly on the motor housing. If it does not snap on, it is not fully seated. After the ring is seated and on the motor base, push the basket on and spin it. Confirm that the basket clears the ring. Place the top cover with feed tube over the unit and lock the two clips down. This procedure should solve your problem.

Wheatgrass juicing problems

Hi, I have an Omega juicer, and I've never had this happen. I recommend that you double check to see if you have the right parts attached. It comes with two inserts, one with a small metal screen on the bottom, the other has no screen, it is solid. The solid one is for crushing and proccessing food. The one with the screen is used for juicing. Make sure you have the correct one installed. If that is not the problem, I think perhaps the grass is too dry? Maybe there isn't enough moisture in it to extract much. I really can't say, though. Try juicing something else, like carrots, and see if you can get some juice there. If all else fails, contact Omega at their website. They have terrific customer service. I've tested it already with a warranty replacement.

Pomegranate

Well ya can juice 'em but it's a bit labour intensive .. lol 'cause ya gotta skin 'em, and get ALL the "Seeds" out, they taste bad... then put the pulp in.. and juice away... yield is low also .. but tastes real nice in the end.. I usually do it in a plastic bag,and tip the pulp into the juicer. Ya can make great "leathers" too..
