I suggest connecting the ethernet port on your Mac to the router and the router to your printer. You don't mention what printer you have (that would have been helpful) but I'm assuming it is networkable. Otherwise bypass the router and use a USB cable to connect it directly to your Mac in the usual fashion.

SOURCE: How to wirelessly access HP Laserjet 1320n via Apple iBook

You need to disconnect the USB cable and set it up wireless on both units:
Since it is plugged into the router, it should already have an IP address.
Un-install the printer from the computers.
Then re-install the printer from the cd or from HP's website. When you get to the point where it ask you is the printer is attached to the computer or is it over the network. Choose over the net work and the software will find the printer IP and finish setting it up wireless.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

I think there are 6 ways (at least?) to connect this printer:
(1) Direct to Mac (or PC) via USB Cable (2) Direct to Mac (or PC) via Ethernet Crossover Cable(3) Ethernet to router/switch, with Mac/PC also via Ethernet to router/switch(4) Ethernet to router/switch, with Mac/PC via WiFi (802.11 wireless)(5) WiFi to router, with Mac/PC via Ethernet to router/switch(6) WiFi to router, with Mac/PC also via WiFi.
As (1) should be simplest, tried this first. First document would print instantly and completely, next doc would hang in queue with unexpected msg, "Printer is offline." Only way to print 2nd doc was to power cycle (off-on) the printer. This problem occurred whether 2nd doc was sent to printer before or after 1st doc had printed. Tried 2nd USB cable, tried new driver, tried reinstalling printer; same problem. Spoke to both Samsung and Apple support, including both on a conference call; never got this to work and never clarified if problem was in printer hardware/software, driver, or something else. Both companies now showing this issue as unresolved.
Nothwithstanding USB problem, did succeed in modes (4) and (6), although custom wireless config needed since my network does not broadcast SSID and requires an encryption password. Procedure required connecting first via Ethernet, obtaining Configuration Report by holding down orange button for 5 seconds, then using browser to connect to the printer's IP address. Also required different driver for wireless config (as opposed to USB).
Bottom line: What seemed simple - USB direct connect - proved unworkable, but wired and wireless network config works fine.

How do I connect the printer with my mac computer?

You need to download the appropriate drivers on your Mac to allow it to understand how to talk to your printer. This is described at the HP website:
http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Software-Drivers/Printer-HP-PSC-1210-All-in-one-driver-for-Mac-OS-X-10-9-4/td-p/4092240
The link above will direct you also to Apple to download the generic HP driver:

Trying to connect 4 MACs to all in one Kodak 5250 printer and will not connect via wireless. I had to set up so that the other pc's have to print from one location via hardwire. I tried installing...

If you have one PC connected to the printer via USB you can share the printer to your Mac computers easily:
If the printer is connected to a Macintosh computer via USB:
1) Open System Preferences
2) Click on Print and Fax
3) Highlight the Printer and Check the box Marked "Share This Printer On The Network"

If the printer is connected to a windows computer via USB:
1) Download "Bonjour Print Services for Windows" from Apple's website
http://support.apple.com/kb/dl999
2) Install it on the PC connected to the Printer.
3) After Installing the Above, Run the Bonjour Printer Configuration Utility and select the Printer you want to share and it will share it over the network to all your apple devices.

MacBook Printer Problem

If you have OSX, the computer already has the drivers, do not use the ce, just connect the printer via usb, make sure the power cable is connected, turn the printer on, restart the computer.
After the reboot, go to the apple in the top left, select SYSTEM PREFS, select PRINTING and FAX, add a printer based on the model number. That should do it, if not, let me know, you may need 2 more steps.
