I need a filter bypass cap for model RF323TEDBSR

I believe your model# starts with a 106 and that the bypass you are referring to is for the water filter?

This model has a check valve in the filter head so it will work without a bypass.Some do need one to function but this one does not. Simply remove the old filter, slide off the cap and push the cap back into the grill. It will fit loosely and tends to fall out from time to time but it will look better then having a round hole in the front of the fridge

Replacing the Water Filter
To purchase a replacement water filter, model 67003523 Part
Number 4396395, contact your dealer or call 1-800-442-9991

IMPORTANT: Air trapped in the water system may cause water
and filter to eject. Always dispense water for at least 2 minutes
before removing the filter or blue bypass cap.

1. Turn filter counterclockwise to remove.
2. Remove sealing label from replacement filter and insert the
filter end into the filter head.
3. Turn the filter clockwise until it stops. Snap the filter cover
closed.
4. Flush the water system. Depending on your model, see
"Water Dispenser" or "Water and Ice Dispensers."
NOTE: The dispenser feature may be used without a water filter
installed. Your water will not be filtered. If this option is chosen,
replace the filter with the blue bypass cap.

of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before
or after the system. Systems certified for cyst reduction
may be used on disinfected waters that may contain

ice maker decreases noticeably before 6 months have passed,
replace the water filter more often.

The Samsung side by sides and french doors have split systems meaning both freezer and ref have evaps. Your water reservoir could be frozen. They have DC heater that is attached to reservoir so it does not freeze, this could be your problem. The other problem that I have run across is the water line in the door can be frozen. If it is the door, you can check by locating where it enters the door, because it will have a quick disconnect. Disconnect water line and grab a cup and place cup under diconnected line coming from cabinet on the door and press or have someone call for water on fountain. Let me know if that helps. The filter for the french door refrigerator is probably behind the vegetable drawer, if you do not see it in the upper right hand corner of the refrigerator compartment. Remove the veggie drawer and turn off the water coming into the refrigerator. Rotate the old filter to the unlocked position and remove it. Then take off the protective cap from the new cartridge and insert it into the refrigerator. Rotate it to the locked position. (Rotate the filter to position the label before you insert the filter. Then the filter goes in correctly.) Reinsert the vegetable drawer and close the doors. Then turn the water back on and fill several glasses with water to clean the filter. Pour that water down the drain at your sink.

Can I Use the Water Dispenser Without a Water Filter? The water and ice dispensers will work without an AquaPure water filter installed. The water filter housings are designed as rotary valves that allow the water to bypass the water filter whenever there is no filter or the filter is not in the lock position.
Models designed for use with the AquaPure water filter are shipped with a cap in place to cover the opening and keep it free of debris prior to the installation of the water filter. It is not necessary to have this cap in place for the unit to bypass the water nor is it intended to plug the housing to prevent leaks.
Note: This does not apply to the Quatro Convertible models. The filter must be installed on this model.

If this is a Pure source 2 filter in the upper right hand side of fridge, Purchase an Electrolux filter bypass, P/N 241944302. This is a empty cartridge that lets water flow without water drip when filter is clogged. Fridgidaire/Electrolux made no bypass in these filters, so when clogged they leak. Plus they NEVER last more than about 30/60 days. If you use the bypass, you will need a separate filter elsewhere such as in water line under sink or behind fridge.
