People are really going to kick themselves if they read this and have already thrown the tv away!! Try this fix, I had exactly the same problem as everyone else but every tv I swapped it with did the same thing so then I thought, I wonder if there is a remote somewhere being pressed down underneath something? So I covered up the sensor with a piece of blutack and boom the problem stopped and my tv started working perfectly ?? although I still haven’t found the remote in question but hey my tv works

Audio output IC over-heats is the pronlem. anyway, check the speaker/s first. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board.
