When the unit sense a strong vibration it automatically stop the unit. unplug the unit and wait for thirty seconds then open the lid and redistribute the cloths inside to balance the load then close lid then plug unit then push power and program your washing again

SOURCE: Hi, I have an Electrolux

Im taking it that you have a squirrel cage motor.(motor without bruhes) Locate the capacitor and replace it. Most of the time its the capacitor that has malfunctioned and that will stop the spin cycle. If you have a soft start.(an electronic control), then check the brushes. Possibly need someone to help as the motor will need to be removed to gain access to the brushes. Check length. must be at least 25 mm.(otherwise not enough tension). Make sure power is pulled out when doing this repair.

Hi, you most likely are getting a "RPS Sensor Fault"
When the motor rotor position sensor fails, it will act exactly like you describe. Many techs incorrectly replace the machine control or the water inlet valve(s). The RPS sensor is much cheaper. If you consult the tech sheet, you will see the fault code for RPS failure and I would bet the farm that the sequence of LEDs displayed if it does when your washer faults out matches exactly with the RPS fault code.

Whirlpool AWO3761 stuck mid-cycle

The cycle doesn't advanceWhen the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:

  • It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.

  • It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
