Display is dark on the right side, spreading left to about half the screen. Sometimes the dark spot disappears but returns again as the picture changes. Far right has a narrow vertical area where an 'afterimage' appears. Colors are distorted. Back lights seem to be OK (changed the inverter boards on both sides, no change. Mine had the horizontal lines you are talking about. 1st check a test picture. Click on Menu, then Settings, then go to Product Support. From there click System Diagnosis and go to bottom and click on sample picture. If you see the same problem there, then you may want to research the possibility of installing a t-con board. You may want to try calling Sony 1st and have them walk you through the basic service repair items. I was very lucky and installed a new t-con board I purchased with all the other boards on Ebay. Good luck with solving your problem! Ron

Contact the authorized service center for Sony. So many adjustments have to be done after T'Con boar replacement. You can do it, if you are an expert engineer specialized in electronic engineering. If not, please do not make the set irreparable by doing more adjustments that you do not know. OK?
