Check all the capacitors on the other boards and if they are swollen or leaking from the top and not flat then you can easily de-solder and remove them and get new capacitors and replace them, sounds like you have some blown

As far as audio is OK; the main digital board works perfectly. Check the sustain boards. Cannot predict which one has the fault. you have to check and find it.

check the cables, you may invert one color with other, may be the cable of video ( yellow ) is malfunctioned.try inverting them & check whether the sound will disappear & the video will show! so it is a cable & you have to change it.

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Could be the power supply inside the TV is bad. Check with your local authorized Samsung repair center. DON'T try to fix it yourself.

Possible burned out light source or power supply. See if bulb is replaceable(SEE MANUAL). UNPLUG POWER, Look for burn damage to bulb. Do not touch bulb with bare hand.
