The blade inside the bread basket does not move. It sounds like it should be agitating from the machine sounds. But their is no mixing of the ingredients.

Sounds like you need to take the part that isn't moving out and clean inside the whole good. I have use oil in mine so it would agitate and mix the ingredients. Hope this helps you

Welbilt bread machine kneading wont start.making ticking sound

some bread machines warm the ingredients before any mixing starts. If your breamachine doesn't start mixing within 1/2 hour then you DO have a problem. Give it a half hour before you assume it is broken.

Cuisinart DLC-10S food processor leaks when liquid is above blades

Yes. It's the basic physics of all liquids.

Perhaps a blender might be a more suitable tool?

Generally you would use the food processor for mixing/blending/chopping all the dry ingredients (and maybe the butter if you are making something like cookies).

Separately mix all the really wet ingredients together in a mixing bowl/large measuring cup.

Then combine the dry ingredients from the food processor with the wet ingredients in a mixing bowl (you can fold the dry into the wet if you used a bowl to mix the wet ingredients together. If you used a measuring cup for the wet, then it's usually better to put the dry ingredients into the mixing bowl first, making a depressed area in the center, and then add the wet into the dry.)

2 cups vanilla yogurt

2. Chill

Hope that helps!

I have a Black and Dekker all-in-one Breadmaker B2200. The manual has very few recipes so I often use the recipes from my previous Breadmaker B1650. It had an Add Ingredients alert (to let you add nuts...

NO, it;s better to wait until kneading has started. If it has a second kneading add then. If not, add in a few minutes after ingredients have started mixing. Just lift the lid and drop them in as it mixes.

Sunbeam 3500 does not mix properly

Hi,
It could be that the belt is slipping, or the sealed bearing in the bread pan where the paddle goes on is sticking and not mixing the ingredients like it should.

There should be a small lever on the base in front of and below the bowl. It will move to 2 positions. It sounds like you have it set for the small bowl but are using the large bowl. Press down on the lever and move it to the other side. If I'm right, that should correct the problem.

The ingredients aren't mixing. I have to take the dough out and

My experience with the machine is that it kneads perfectly, but you have to use ACTIVE DRY YEAST instead of another kind of yeast, and you have to throw the ingredients into the pan in order - do not mix the ingredients at all - just pour them in, and let the machine do the mixing. Except for substituting between BREAD FLOUR and WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, do not substitute any other ingredients. This one is very picky about the type of ingredients that you use - not for the innovator :-)

Need to know how to use the breadman tr440

The Breadman:
In the Breadman, you always add all the liquids ingredients first. If your recipe calls for salt, you add the salt to the liquid because it will ruin the yeast if they get mixed together. Then you all all dry ingredients except the yeast which is added last. You make a small indention on top of the dry ingredients then add the yeast.
