Sir,
you may please re-set your cam to factory default, it will help to override the problem.

Testimonial: "Thank you. I have already tried that. I also installed the Everio software on my office computer and it works fine. The problem is with my home computer, it thinks a previous install is incomplete. I have previously installed the software and it worked. Then I unistalled the software. The uninstall may not have been complete, but since then I am unable to reinstall, getting the error 50060. Darryl"

You will be needing codecs to run your system fine.
K-lite codec pack helps install certain codec formats which your system is not able to recognise.

Click on the link below to download and install the codec pack.

SOURCE: Youtube upload through the MediaBrowser software

Hi!
May i know what is the name of your you yube uploader? Normally files being uploaded should be saved in the computer. If save it directly from your camcorder you really have this kind of problem because it might be caused cable problems. Try saving your video files in your computer and free some memory in your hard disk coz if it is low you encounter errors more often.

I have a JVC GZ-HD300 Hard disc video camera and when using Everio Mediabrowser which comes with the camera download to convert my videos the conversion leaves the finished video blurred

Hi.

If the original footage was sharp, that means that you are probably using wrong compression parameter or format on Everio, while doing conversion.

If the source movie was blurred instead, try using the Advanced Image Stabilisation option, usually available in new JVC HD camcorder menu.

Everio has different quality settings. Each time you increase compression you lower quality.

Also ensure that the camera was not in a low definition setting.

Regards.

Ginko.

In everio media browser i try to change the "library destination" settings to point to a network drive but get the message "invalid destination respecify a different folder". Are network destinations...

No, they're not allowed, but I've found you can change it manually in the registry. Always be careful changing the registry. Mistakes can break Windows!
First, make sure the network share is mapped to a drive letter:
  1. Open "My Computer".
  2. Open the "Tools" menu and select "Map Network Drive...".
  3. Select a drive letter (eg. "V:" for video), type the path to the network video folder (eg. "\\Server\Videos"), and press "OK".
  4. You should now have a drive letter showing exactly what's in your network video folder.
  5. Create a folder on the network share to receive the videos (eg. "V:\Everio MediaBrowser").
Next, modify the Everio MediaBrowser settings.
  1. Open the Windows "Start" menu and press "Run...".
  2. Type "regedit" and press "OK".
  3. Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ PIXELA\ Everio MediaBrowser\ IMXLIBRARY
  4. Double-click the "SAVEPATH" entry, change the value to a path using the drive letter you created above (eg. "V:\Everio MediaBrowser"), and press "OK". This folder must exist, so create it if you haven't already
  5. Select the "SAVEPATH2" entry and press "Delete". This prevents MediaBrowser from deciding a local drive is a better destination.
  6. Close the program.
Now you can download video into the library on the network.
  1. Plug in your camcorder.
  2. Select "Playback on PC".
  3. When MediaBrowser starts, press Backup at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select the volumes to backup and press "Next".
  5. MediaBrowser should now say the destination is the network drive. Press "Next".
I have not attempted to import existing videos from a network share yet. That could be another challenge.

Youtube upload through the MediaBrowser software consistently hangs at 50% - no error messages, no matter what the file size. Any suggestions?

NO SOUND TRANSFERS TOGETHER WITH THE VIDEO TO MY COMPUTER

This happened to me. I know the solution. I uninstalled everio mediabrowser program that came on cd with the camcorder. The result was that I could not hear the sound when I played my videos. If you install Everio Mediabrowser again, the audio will play.

I want to put my movie segments onto the hard drive of my PC and edit Can this be done? I can't even get my movies out of the mediabrowser yet and I might add I have tried back up as the manuad says but it...

Sorry guys I have found out the problem. It is the software (Mediabrowser) that is causing all the problems. I have taken it off and reloaded it several times now . Now it lets me load the files but won't let me move them at all and all the drop down menu's the boxes are blank or all grayed out. It won't even let me delete unwanted files. For the founders in video technology I think JVC should get their act together and put out some decent software. Sorry. Wouldn't recommend JVC to anyone
