I set the volume to 40. After a little while the volume starts dropping down. If you do not turn the volume back up the volume will eventually go to zero all by it self and turn off the system.

You don't list a brand or model, but this sounds like a common problem on certain Pioneer receivers. Most likely cause is either a bad thermistor or bad connections on one of the thermistors on the amplifier pcb. This can cause the unit to think it is starting to overheat and the processor tries to turn the volume down in order to lower the heat levels.

Won't get past start screen when turned on

Try rebooting. Hold the power button till the menu pops up and click restart.

If that doesn't work try Hard reset Turn the unit off. Press and hold both the power button and the volume button at the same time, until the little yellow-green android robot comes on the screen. You can then release the buttons. You will eventually get a menu (this took a while to come up). Use the Volume button to scroll down to "Reset to Factory Standards", and select by pressing the power button. You`ll get a message asking you if you`re sure you want to do this. Use Power button again to select "yes". It will set the unit back to what it was when brand new.
By doing this you be ready to lose your saved data and setting

Pump should stop at 40psi and start at 20psi. pressure does not drop to 20psi but pump comes on immediately when running water. how can I adjust it so that pressure drops to 20psi before pump starts?

You are actually missing air. Your system is water bound. The temporary fix is turn the pump off, drain the tank and start it back up. There is a air volume regulator there that has probably failed. The water you pump has very little air dissolved in it however when it is in your pressure tank; it adsorbed some air from that eventually depleting the air from your tank.

Navigon easy 40 no sound

The usual problem is the voice volume is turned down. This can happen when you are adjusting the volume down just as turn by turn instructions are starting; thus you don't notice it happened, or someone else did it or software glitch caused it or Murphy's law.
The way to fix it is turn vol up to max and set navigation and start driving. As you get to navigation points where you would expect the turn by turn instructions hit the up volume button. Keep trying it will only go up whilst instructions are being broadcast. Try using repeat last directions function to get a better shot at it.
This happened to me and this was the fix, odd but true.
Also see if there is a turn by turn vol level in settings.
Hope it works for you.

Older peavey pa amp i lose sound and have to crank all the way up to get sound back then turn back down and eventually just happens again

Could it be the volume control itself? Try spraying it with Servisol Video 40, (see image below) it might be just dust or worn track in the control.

Samsung lns4041dx/xaa

Same problem with my set. The volume was either fully up, or fully down (usually down), and other controls didn't work- like I couldn't access the menus and could not adjust the width of the screen/aspect ratio.

I lived with it for about six weeks, then took the back off the TV. Just now it seems to be fixed, but I don't know if it will last.

I disconnected the wire leading to the channel up/down, volume up/down and source board, turned on the tv, turned it back off, reconnected the cable, and everything seems fine now.

Sansa MP3 shut down

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

If this fails, it's dead.

2)
REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your iLo player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "ILO 2GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and give you a fresh start.
