Odd, but try this: Some tablets do not fully shut down, even though the screen goes blank. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds, wait 15 seconds, and then try again to power up (hold power button for 3-5 seconds). Wait patiently for the power up, as power after factory reset may take longer than a 'typical' start-up. Good luck!

Boot loader failure its a common symptom with tablets 9 out of 10 tablets i repair have this fault freezing on the boot screen because the operating system is corrupt file missing i would never buy any tablet than an ipad you pay for what you get really. You can try and upload an os replacement if you can but its very technical if its out of warranty you will probably pay 60 pounds at a shop to have it repaired so its basically a doorstop unless you have any IT friends.

The connector / ribbon cable on the screen may need re-seating correctly or the screen itself is faulty, it is not possible to say which without disassembly. Unless you know someone who is prepared to disassemble for little money or as a favour it it is not economically viable to repair.

i guess u need to hold vol+power keys for few seconds when the tablet is switched off.

Have you tried doing a system recovery using the "hot" keys for the machine. Contact ASUS support for the instructions.
