The radio has no sound our of the speaker. What is a phone # that I could speak with a repair person?

Many devices will automatically switch off the large speaker when ear phones are plugged into them. Also there may be a switch or button or prompt on your radio to switch between regular speaker and ear phone jack. Look for that first.
Try connecting and disconnection ear phones while listening to a station and see if the problem is intermittent. If is works sometimes but not every time then it is most likely an internal connection.
You will have to access the inside of the radio to investigate further. Connect a working external music or sound source with speaker wire to the terminals inside the radio that connect to the radio's speaker. If the radio's speaker works with the external sound source then you know it is a bad connection inside your radio. If the radio's speaker does not work with the external sound source then it is most likely a faulty radio speaker. Look closely for a broken solder point or broken/disconnected wire.

i think your speaker become too weak as a result, it can not provide its better service. so you need to change your speaker then it become ok. enjoy it.

It may be your Ear speaker problem.Please check with the help of another person by calling another phone number and speak to him.If he hears your voice its confirm that your ear speaker is damaged.You have to replace it by giving your phone to any authorized mobile phone service center.

In any phone cordless // Mobile or landline there are two things one is microphone & other is speaker. Microphone is when u speak caller party can hear u & speaker is to hear when someone from otherside speak. In ur case the speaker might be faulty get it repaire by the local technician

It could be radio interference in your phone, in which case you'll want to install an RF choke on the phone cord, using something like this item from Radio Shack: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103222

It could also be crosstalk from a neighbor's phone, in which case you'll want to call your phone company's repair number. That number should be on your phone bill, and they can walk you through troubleshooting steps.

It definitely is not the speaker but the Microphone; we got to have tested no smart way out.

because the speaker in your phone is faulty so you have to replace it

When you are talking to the other person the volume keys are the keys on the left of the phone push the up button. but it could be the speaker because the v400 was known for the speaker becomeing faulty i fixed mine from these instructions. http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=633428
