Stops at 23 min in cycle have to restart

Sounds like a micro switch problem to me, telling the dishwasher that the drawer is open when it is not actually open.

depending on its age take a look at the motors brushes. sounds like 23 mins would be spin cycle when the motor picks up speed. they may need replacing.

Try to confirm if the unit works ok with the Rinse cycle. If that is ok then most likely the heater element is faulty. Feel water temperature when it stops.

Check the air dome transducer hose first,
(the clear plastic tube that goes from the control board to the right side of the outer tub connection)
for kinks, clogs, twists,etc.

If the hose is OK,

Yes, you will need to replace the control board.

fault with the programe as it has stoped in mid cycle

Does it pause?... and if you press the run button again does it restart?... if this is the problem, try cleaning the sensor prism on the top right of the housing, If its dirty you get these type of problems when the unit heats up....

E20 is a draining problem. the first thing to check is the filter at front of machie as there may be something blocking the pump.
Before removing filter tilt machine back and place a bowl under as there will be water inside.

this is actually a fault code error code 1 not one minute check your manual as codes different on some machines from memory i think 1 is a filling fault this machine uses fuzzy logic if water fill takes longer than 4 mins (low pressure) machine stops can be restarted by pressing start button.
see if machine will complete just a rinse cycle.
